Rose Aidin, Chair of Trustees
Rose studied Art History at school in London, visiting museums and galleries as part of her A level course, followed by university, and has continued learning about Art History ever since. Rose has worked for commercial and non-profit arts organisations, as a freelance arts journalist, and has taught Art History A level in state maintained and independent schools for the past decade, and more recently, in museums and galleries.
Susan Adams, Deputy Chair of Trustees
Susan has wide experience working in communications and stakeholder relations in the cultural and charity sectors. She has a degree in Social Policy and Government and is currently studying for an MBA. She is a great fan of the arts and wants to help ensure they have a strong and vibrant future.
Robert Faulkner, Treasurer
Rob studied History of Art at school and this has provided him with an appreciation of art and design which has helped him in his professional life. He has been running his own web design and marketing business (Datadial.net) for twenty years, and is a part time ceramicist and sculptor.
Rose Shawe-Taylor, Secretary
Rose is a figurative painter and active campaigner for visual literacy in schools. She teaches both art and history of art, most recently as Head of Art at Shrewsbury School. Since completing her MA degree in Fine Art in 2004, Rose has exhibited her work on numerous occasions, while teaching full time since 2008.
Nerissa studied Art History at the University of Bristol and Courtauld Institute of Art. In 2016, she started the online campaign to save A-Level Art History, gaining over 26,000 signatures. Nerissa lectures in Art History at New College of Humanities and is a Research Associate at the University of Bristol.
