Art History A level teacher application
Art History Link-Up is seeking to appoint an inspiring and innovative Art History A level teacher to deliver our free Art History A level and EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) course for state supported students on term-time Saturdays. The course will be delivered online from September 2021, using Zoom, Google Classroom and Miro Online Whiteboard, and possibly in due course also at the National Gallery, pandemic / public health and safety conditions permitting.
The course is two modules of the Pearson A level Art History course taught alongside an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). It is envisaged that “Identities in Art and Architecture” and “Invention and Illusion: The Renaissance in Italy 1420-1520” will be delivered. Teachers will be supported in course structure, content and delivery throughout.
(A second and separate taught EPQ course at the Wallace Collection will deliver the A level modules “Nature in Art and Architecture” and “Power and Persuasion: the Baroque in Catholic Europe 1597-1685”.)

It is envisaged that the course will run on term-time Saturdays, in the afternoons, from September 2021-July 2022 for 2.5 hours with some supervision/direction of EPQ/homework clubs, run by homework assistants, which currently takes place on Thursday 4-6pm on Zoom. The fee will be £200 per session, including preparation, marking and other reasonable duties as required.
