AHLU Class of 2020
Art History Link-Up was honoured to be hosted by Christie’s London for an online celebration of the Class of 2020 live via Zoom on 21st September 2020.
Christie’s Global President, Jussi Pylkkänen opened the event with inspiring words for our students, followed by video messages of congratulation from supporters including Dr Xavier Bray, Director, The Wallace Collection, Craig Clunas, Professor Emeritus of Art History, the University of Oxford, Alex Hutchinson, Head, James Allen’s Girls’ School, the Hon. Hannah Rothschild, and Dr Joe Spence, Master, Dulwich College.
Dr Caroline Campbell, Director of Collections and Research, The National Gallery, led a discussion with some of AHLU’s Class of 2020 about current art historical issues, while other alumni students were in conversation with Albany Bell, Christie’s expert, about modern British paintings on view, followed by a closing summary from Dr Thomas Marks, Editor, Apollo.
